Gift Card Terms & Conditions – Car Valet Perth
These Terms & Conditions apply to all gift cards issued by Car Valet Perth(“we”, “us”, “our”). By purchasing or using a gift card, the customer (“you”, “your”) accepts these Terms.

1. Gift Card Value & Purchase
1.1. Gift cards may be purchased for any amount chosen by the purchaser.
1.2. Gift cards are issued in GBP (£) and remain the property of Car Valet Perth until fully redeemed.

2. Redemption & Expiry
2.1. Gift cards must be redeemed within 4 months from the date of purchase.
2.2. After 4 months, any unused balance automatically expires and cannot be extended, refunded, or reinstated under any circumstances.
2.3. Gift cards may be used as:
• Full payment for any service; or
• Part payment, with any remaining balance due from the customer at the time of booking.

3. Eligible Services
3.1. Gift cards may be redeemed against any detailing or valeting service offered by us at the time of booking.
3.2. Gift cards cannot be redeemed for merchandise (if applicable) unless explicitly stated.
3.3. Services are subject to availability, weather conditions (for mobile services), and vehicle suitability.

4. No Cash Alternative & Non-Refundable
4.1. Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash, credit, or refunded in whole or in part.
4.2. No change will be given if the value of a service is less than the gift card amount; however, any remaining balance will remain on the card until expiry.

5. Booking Requirements
5.1. All bookings must be made in advance.
5.2. You must notify us at the time of booking that you intend to use a gift card.
5.3. If you fail to attend your appointment or cancel within our cancellation policy timeframe, we reserve the right to deduct up to 100% of the booking value from the gift card.

6. Loss, Theft & Damage
6.1. Lost, stolen, defaced, damaged, or otherwise unreadable gift cards cannot be replaced.
6.2. Proof of purchase does not guarantee replacement.

7. Fraud & Misuse
7.1. We reserve the right to void any gift card that is suspected to have been:
• Obtained fraudulently
• Altered or tampered with
• Misused or used in breach of these Terms
7.2. We may request additional verification before honouring a card if its validity is unclear.

8. Price Changes & Service Adjustments
8.1. Our prices may change at any time, and gift cards remain valid only for their monetary value, not for a specific service price.
8.2. If prices increase, the customer must pay the difference.

9. Transferability
9.1. Gift cards are not transferable once redeemed or partially used.
9.2. Prior to first use, gift cards may be given to another person, but the 4-month expiry date still applies.

10. Liability
10.1. We are not liable for:
• Lost or stolen cards
• Delays or cancellations due to weather (for mobile jobs)
• Vehicle conditions that prevent safe or adequate detailing
10.2. We reserve the right to refuse service if a vehicle is unsafe, excessively dirty beyond normal limits, or poses health risks.

11. Right to Amend
11.1. We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time.
11.2. Changes will not affect gift cards purchased prior to the update, except where required by UK law.

12. Governing Law
12.1. These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland .
12.2. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
